A few weeks ago I was having a teleconference with the CEO, CFO, and others from a large national company. They out numbered me on this conference call 11 to 1.  ELEVEN of them all talking to just ONE of me. When asked about my ability to help them with their salesmanship and marketing I responded with the same question I will now ask you:  "Is marketing, and salesmanship about building interest and desire in your product?"        
"Yes." 
I then specifically asked the gentleman that had set up the teleconference for his company,
(I will call him Jon)
"Jon, didn't you call me to talk with me?"      
"Yes." 
"In fact Jon didn't you leave me 4 messages over the course of a week trying to get a hold of me?"
"Yes." 
And to the CEO I stated "Your company is roughly 1,000 times the size of mine isn't it?" 
He said, "I don't know but I imagine so." 
Then I asked "How many members of your company are on the line with us today?" 
They answered "11" 
I then asked "and in how many different states?" 
"7" 
Then I said "Wow, this must have been hard to coordinate this conference call for you guys?" 
"Yes it was a bit of a challenge with the different time zones, ect." 
To which I simply asked my final question: "So I have to ask what other demonstration of my salesmanship and marketing ability would you like me to give you?" 
Everyone laughed, and that was that the "sale" was closed.
