12-17-07 I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept thinking about one of my old clients. "what had it been 20 years now?" I had run into her earlier in the evening as my wife & I were doing some Christmas shopping. We had exchanged light conversation, and went on our way. It has been a long time since I had seen her, yet I will never forget about her or her children. You see her husband had passed away accidentally about 20 years ago now. I still remember meeting with my clients when I insured their small farm, and cars. We walked around their farm, and I took photos of everything, and listed all their equipment. I remember talking to them about life insurance, and I remember my friend wasn't very interested as he was barely 30 years old, and in great health. Although he had 3 kids, and his wife was a stay at home mom, he couldn't be moved to buy a life insurance policy. I had followed up a few times as we reviewed their insurance each year, and a few more times during the year. He just couldn't see paying an extra $29 a month for a life policy. A few years after we had first met he had an accident on his tractor and passed leaving his wife and 3 children all 3 still less than 10 years old. The reason I can never forget my friends wife, was that about 2 weeks after his passing she called me to ask if her husband had by chance ever bought that life insurance policy I had kept pestering him about. He hadn't. In my 28 years as an insurance agent I have seen both the miracle life insurance has been in the lives of many of my clients and friends. I have also seen the other side of the coin, as people I come to care for pass without the life insurance their family needs. I can’t adequately describe the difference in the two scenarios both at the time of loss, and yes even 20 years latter. About 3 am this morning still bothered by what had happened to my friend's family I thought I would just put together a flyer just to let you know how inexpensive life insurance has become. How easy it is to get quotes and coverage today. 20 years ago, when someone wanted a quote on life insurance we would get 1 quote mailed to us by one insurance company. Today in a matter of seconds we can get quotes from 48 of the countries top life insurance companies. So we always know our clients get the lowest rates. On the other side of this letter, I have a sample of rates we ran for non smokers for a Million Dollars of life insurance. I bet you didn’t know how inexpensive it is? I know I was a bit surprised to. I have to just ask you if you don’t have enough life insurance for your family right now, why don’t you give us a call and just get it done. Go ahead and call me…. It is fast, easy, and inexpensive Thanks… Grant W Davis888-991-2929 |
